Children’s Ministry

The importance of children’s ministry.

At Washington Street, we think children are a top priority. That is why we place value in our children’s ministry. Our goal in our children’s ministry at Washington Street is to provide a safe space for children and their families to engage in creative lessons and activities that promote Christlike behavior and biblical knowledge.

Vacation Bible School

We host a vacation Bible school every summer at Washington St. We share a meal together, then worship and learn about the Lord in creative, fun ways! Ask us about VBS sometime.

Children’s Classes

We provide classes for all children. We have pre-k classes up to 6th grade classes. We also provide a nursery, so parents with younger children can go and enjoy their class too.

Church Camp

Every year in July we have a church camp available for 3rd grade to 12th grade. This is one of our biggest events. We have camp at Camp Ney-a-ti on Lake Guntersville. We worship and learn about Jesus, while playing games, making crafts and singing lots of silly songs.
